Bengkel Kereta Berakas Sdn Bhd (BKB) launched its 24 Roadside Assist in Brunei and the 24Hours Roadside Assist mobile application, to better serve Brunei’s market on Friday.
The ceremony was held at the BKB premises in Lambak Kanan Industrial Area.
The guests of honour, Managing Director of Syarikat Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd Haji Shahrildin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Utama Dato Paduka Haji Jaya and Managing Director of BKB Haji Mohd Yussof bin Haji Judin officiated the launching ceremony.
Head of Department for 24 Roadside Assist Nardi bin Tana spoke about the steady growth of BKB in offering 24 Roadside Assistance and Motor Vehicle Towing services in Brunei.
He shared that last year, BKB expanded its core business by launching its first customer service agent intake programme which offered comprehensive training to employees with a detailed employment benefit plan to support the economic growth by providing employment opportunities to the local.
With the launch of the mobile application, customers can provide real time location and monitor the arrival time of the first responders. The application is available at Apple Store and Google Play Store.
The guest of honour toured the facilities and officiated the premise for the 24Hours Roadside Assist during a ribbon-cutting ceremony participated by General Manager of Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) Barudin bin Haji Kudil, Deputy General Manager of TBA Haji Darryl A bin Haji Maidin and Deputy Managing Director of BKB Mohammad Ali Hashim bin Haji Mohd Yussof.
