TAKAFUL Brunei, comprising Syarikat Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (STBD) along with its subsidiaries, Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) and Takaful Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd (TBK) held a Tahlil and Surah Yaasiin ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum yesterday for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
Chief Syar’ie Judge and Chairman of the Syariah Advisory Body Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar was present. Members of the Board of Directors, officers and staff of Takaful Brunei were also present.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, followed by Tahlil and Doa Arwah.
In the spirit of Ramadhan, Takaful Brunei will also be actively involved in various religious activities such as Tedarus Al-Quran, Khatam Al-Quran and charity drive for the less fortunate.
