TAKAFUL Brunei recently organised a Khatam Al-Quran recitation at the Kampong Beribi Mosque, for its officers and staff members, together with those from its subsidiaries of Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) and Takaful Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd (TBK).
Also in attendance was Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah, Minister of Development in his capacity as the Chairman of Takaful Brunei Board of Directors.
The event began with the Al-Quran verses recitation, followed by the distribution of donations to 30 orphans from Kampong Beribi, by Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Bahrin.
Takaful Brunei also presented the mosque with a Waqaf consisting of a leaf-blower, a grass-cutting machine, a high-pressure washer and 60 Takhtim prayer books.
The ceremony concluded with the breaking of fast and mass Maghrib prayer.
