Takaful Brunei Darussalam’s blood donation drive a success

TAKAFUL Brunei Darussalam (Takaful Brunei) held a blood drive campaign yesterday in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC). The campaign, which reflects Takaful Brunei’s principles on saving lives, took place at the company’s premises at Jalan Pemancha.

Over 30 people stepped forward to donate blood.

This is the second blood drive organised this year by Takaful Brunei. In March, Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK), one of the subsidiaries of Takaful Brunei, received positive response for their campaign, which was held at TBK Head Office in Kiulap.

Since the need for blood remains constant, Takaful Brunei plans to have another blood drive to be held at Takaful Brunei Am (TBA) Head Office in Beribi.

The company also hopes to hold blood drives on a regular basis, under the slogan ‘Together We Protect,’ as their corporate social responsibility.

Takaful Brunei conveyed their appreciation to members of the public who helped to make its blood donation campaign a success.

According to the management, donating blood is an obvious way for the public to show their commitment in helping one another.
