25th March 2025, Brunei Darussalam — Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) held a signing ceremony between TBA and the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) for a three-year participation of the TBA Group Personal Accident held at the FRD Headquarters in Berakas with officers and personnel in attendance.
Signing on behalf of TBA was Yang Mulia Haji Shahrildin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Utama Dato Paduka Haji Jaya, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Takaful Brunei and witnessed by Yang Mulia Barudin bin Haji Kudil, Chief Operations Officer of TBA. Meanwhile, signing on behalf of FRD is Yang Mulia Shahrin bin Haji Mohd Jawie, Acting Deputy Director of the FRD and was witnessed by Yang Mulia Azmi bin Haji Hafneh, Acting Director of the FRD.
The signing marks a significant collaboration as it provides over 1,473 personnel Takaful with peace of mind through enhanced benefits and comprehensive coverage under the TBA Group Accident Takaful scheme, where they will be covered in the event of any bodily injuries due to accident and illness and effective coverage of 24 hours worldwide. The comprehensive coverage aims to safeguard the well-being of the FRD personnel who play a critical role in serving the community.
