13th May 2025, Brunei Darussalam – Takaful Brunei is honoured to be awarded the ‘3G Championship Award for Service Excellence 2025’ at the esteemed Global Good Governance Awards 2025. The award highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity and innovation in the Takaful industry.
Organised by Cambridge IFA, in collaboration with Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) as summit co-host, the 3G Summit’s mission is to highlight and celebrate excellence in transparency, sustainability, and social responsibility. The Good Governance Awards or 3G Awards celebrate individuals, governments, public and private institutions and NGOs that demonstrate making governance and sustainability a strategic priority of their organisations.
Presenting the award was the Guest of Honour of the Global Good Governance Awards 2025, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister (Civil Service Governance), Prime Minister’s Office and Chairman of Cambridge International Financial Advisory (IFA) Professor Dr. Humayon Dar. Receiving the award on behalf of Takaful Brunei was Yang Mulia Haji Shahrildin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Utama Dato Paduka Haji Jaya, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Takaful Brunei.
In addition to the award, the summit featured a panel discussion with key voices from the industry, with Yang Mulia Nur Sadrina bin Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Suhaili Al-Hafiz, Head of Compliance and Risk Management of Takaful Brunei, as a panellist to share insights on the topic of ‘Strengthening Institutions for Community Well-being and Sustainability’. The session addressed how effective governance and institutional design can strengthen community resilience and inclusivity in the face of global change.
