TAKAFUL Brunei Darussalam (Takaful Brunei) yesterday organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) at the ground floor of Dar Takaful IBB Utama on Jalan Pemancha.
Themed, ‘Donate Blood, Save Lives. Every Drop Matters’, people from various walks of life spared 30 minutes of their time to donate blood and show their support for this worthy cause.
This is the fifth time Takaful Brunei has conducted a blood donation drive. Last August, Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK), one of Takaful Brunei’s subsidiaries, received positive response from their blood donation drive at TBK’s head office in Kiulap.
The need for blood remains constant and this activity is relevant to help sustain an adequate supply in the national blood bank.
Repeated blood donation may also help to improve the flow of blood in the body which will lead to a healthier and longer life.
Takaful Brunei will continue this life saving mission in hopes to create more awareness to the public as well as a reminder that every effort helps.
With their slogan ‘Together We Protect’, Takaful Brunei wishes to conduct regular blood donation drives as part of their regular corporate social responsibility.
Takaful Brunei believes this activity is a visible way for the public to show their commitment in helping one another.
