TAKAFUL Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries – Takaful Brunei Am (TBA) and Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK) – yesterday hosted a Family Day for employees at the Jerudong Park Colonnade, with 400 people in attendance.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by an opening speech from the Takaful Brunei Darussalam Acting Managing Director Haji Shahrildin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Utama Dato Paduka Haji Jaya.
Employees and their families took part in a light aerobics session in preparation for the array of games and activities, with exciting prizes to be won.
A number of food vendors were also brought in to whip up delicious treats.
In a press statement, Takaful Brunei said, “Togetherness and unity is an essential part of any family or an organisation to be efficient; and we believe that activities which involve both family and colleagues can create a unique bond that encourages and cultivates the values of Takaful towards the public.”
