16 June 2024 – Takaful Brunei proudly partnered up with Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) to host a heartwarming ‘Sunday Funday’ event aimed to provide a day of fun, laughter and unforgettable memories. The event saw the attendance of Takaful Brunei’s Managing Director, Haji Shahrildin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Utama Dato Paduka Haji Jaya followed by Takaful Brunei employees, YASKA volunteers and event partners.
The event kicked off with the recitation of the Doa to seek blessings, followed by a warm welcome for the children who received goodie bags from Takaful Brunei. The morning was packed with engaging activities catering to different age groups, ranging from horse-riding, soccer shootouts to face painting and bubble blowing. The event not only succeeded in its mission to bring joy to the children but also marked the beginning of a continued commitment to supporting children battling cancer and their families.
The event was made possible by the dedication of volunteers, employees and generous event partners. As part of the company’s CSR initiatives, Takaful Brunei looks forward to many more opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of these remarkable children.
