CHILDREN, parents and committee members of the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) were treated to a memorable moment together at Qidiaku at Citis Square yesterday.
The event – hosted by Takaful Brunei Darussalam with support from its subsidiaries Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) and Takaful Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd TBK – saw approximately 50 people, consisting of Takaful’s officers and the YASKA’s group, have a great time together at the fun education centre with the concept of learning while playing.
The event began with the recitation of Doa to seek blessings, followed by a YASKA slide presentation. The Qidiaku mascot made its presence at the beginning of the event to join in on the cake cutting ceremony and to give out souvenirs.
Interactive games such as Bring Me, Longest Sound, Limbo Rock and others were also carried out at the event and everyone was also given the opportunity to tryout fun learning facilities available at Qidiaku. Among the main highlight was the Immersive Room, where one can experience being in places such as underwater and many more with a 3D-effect.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Takaful Brunei believes that these children deserve to have more excitement in their life, and should never stop gaining more knowledge despite being diagnosed with cancer.
Takaful Brunei is now providing cancer coverage in their TBK As-Syifa product, where having oneself financially protected as a participant of TBK As-Syifa, the chances of getting better treatment is higher
